It is day 2 of my cleanse. I started my period this morning. I was thinking that that would be it. I would just feel awful and that could be my excuse to strap on the old feedbag. I actually feel better then most first days of ye old cycle. No cramps and slightly more patient. The no cramps thing rocks.

I am doing better then I did on my second day of my last cleanse too. I guess I just realize from doing it before that it is not forever and someday soon I will be chewing again. I have definitely had my hard times though, but for the most part it is paying off. I won't go into the gory details.

I am knitting arm warmers right now. This cleanse makes me cold, so I have one on while I am knitting the other. I think I might start back on my poncho too. I need to learn how to use double pointed needles. What is a good starter size?

I have this really pretty silvery grey yarn that my mom sent me. About 6 skeins. None of it has labels so I know nothing else about it. I want to make something out of it , but what?

The pic is of George Harrison. He is my favorite Beatle ( we are a big Beatles house) He would have been 66 on Wednesday. I love this picture. He was so great!

Oh well time for some more concoction...

Pre Spring cleaning..

Today is the first day of my second cleanse...I went 2 days last time. I am hoping for 5 this time. My hubby is on it & a friend might start it soon too. That makes it easier to know you are not the only one.

We watched The Curious Case of Benjamin Buttons last night. It was good. Interesting story. Makes you think. I rarely watch movies anymore.( except for kid ones) I don't know why..just lost interest. We have Slumdog Millionaire & Milk too..I might watch those.

The picture is of Bubbinz with a peacock at the Arcadia Arboretum a few weeks ago. It was all good then about 3 of them started chasing us (like Geese) to get Bubbinz' cookie. HaHa..Crazy birds!

I am doing a whole lot of nothing right now...Do I have stuff to do? Yup.My Hubbinz is at his class tonight and Bubbinz got some new Netflix, so I am doing nothing. Hubbinz said he is taking Bubbbinz on a hike for treasure in the A.M. before park day. This lets me have the whole morning to do the stuff I don't feel like doing tonight.

The cookie party was good. Lots of good mom/lady talk. Bubbinz learned that if you are cheating at a game against an older boy you will get punched. The other boy got in trouble too, so he also learned 2 wrongs don't make a right. All while I ate cookies..That's multi tasking.

I am undecided about the Valentines this year. I had devised a design in my head to make fortune cookie Valentines out of old paper bags. I am so busy right around that time that I might just say bye bye till next year to that idea and go to Target and grab some prefab ones.

The picture above is the scarf I made for my friend Stacy's birthday. I like it a lot, and she does too...I am not really knitting right now. I started a simple black scarf kind of like the one I made for Stacy, but don't have much time. I should be doing all the input for the taxes.Knitting is just another thing that helps me procrastinate.
