Happy TANKSgiving

OK..whats the deal ?...Today our water heater broke & was leaking all over. So we have to get a new one quick so we can shower...More $$$. Luckily my dad in law is helping us put it in. The old one was a dinosaur anyway, so now we get a new energy saving one.

So what is the universe trying to tell me? At first I was thinking it was laughing at me for buying a new hot tub in such crazy times. Kind of getting me back for doing something unsure or crazy.

I try to be a " glass half full " person , so I decided that what the universe is really telling me is "good job!" It's showing me just how much to appreciate my new tub. Every time something crazy or stressful happens I take refuge in my tubbie. At least that's what I like to tell myself....LOL

Latchkey Scarf...

Like a little latchkey kid, my scarf for D.L. has a lot of issues.
I tried to make up for the lack of quality time spent with it with some jazzy fringe.
I hope it appreciates all I did for it..haha
D.L. loves it and that means a lot...

Dis & Dat

I went to Yoga last night at Destination. It was sooo good. I had forgotten how much I enjoy that style of yoga. I was sweating and stretching up a storm. I got home to find that our spa had been finished and hooked up. Yippeee! My old muscles needed it.
I woke up early this A.M. and snuck out for a solitary soak. It was awesome. I could hear people going to work. I just thought how great it is that they are off to the grind and I am relaxing all nude like in my tub. haha!
I am glad I did that because it has been a day...
The fuel pump went out on the van and it is over $800 dollars to fix it. We have just signed up for an extended warranty last week, that does not go into effect for 20 some more days...hmmm What to do....?
Oh well ya gotta take the nuisance with the bliss...

SAY WHAT?!

So this morning Bubbinz & I are driving down Bear Valley. At Hesperia Rd. I hear Bubbinz say "EWWWWW! What is that?" I look over and there is some guy holding up signs with pics of aborted fetuses on them.

SAY WHAT!

First of all, I don't even think men should be in the pro or anti AB fight, but that's just me.

So Bubbinz wants to know what those pics are of. I am furious and just want to pull over and beat that man till he looks like those pics, but of course I am a decent human being who keeps it to herself.

So I had to LIE to Bubbinz about what I thought it was. I told him it was make believe monster stuff.

I cannot believe how some people just want to throw there beliefs at you. It is so easy for that MAN to say he will never have an AB. People need to realize that people grow up and live in situations they cannot even imagine.

Don't believe in AB? Cool don't get one...

Don't believe in Buddha, Jesus, Santa Claus? Cool don't beleive in them.

Don't believe in in global warming? Cool too. (but wrong! LOL)

Just stop spreading the hate...

Keep your hate all bottled up inside if you need to, stop teaching it to your kids and definitely don't advertise in on Bear Valley.

Besides that it has been a wonderful fall day!

A nice deep breathe...

I am so happy the elections are over. I tend to get to wrapped up and emotional about it. I think it is from living in Hollywood from 17 till 28 . Most people down there are pretty passionate about all kinds of issues...Ya just get caught up.

Im still trying to figure out all the bells & whistles on Blogspot..

I am in the process of knitting 2 scarves. One for Bubbinz & one for Jammers. Knitting to me is bizarre at this point ( just learning) I am board and obsessed at almost the same time. My hubby would say more on the obsessed side.


Today was a good mellow day. Bubbinz is moving along nicely in his learning. I cannot even fathom NOT homeschooling. It really fits our family so well. Pajama schooling is what we call it.
