How about a Hugg !?

I finally finished Bubbinz'z hugg monster (on the 24th). I got the pattern from a blog. I Like the way it turned out and Bubbinz really likes it. The snow last week destroyed all my lavender, so I put lavender oil in the stuffing to calm the Bubbinz beast!

Now I can start knitting something for me..and my dog a sweater.

sorta kinda...

It is kind of snowing out there right now...Sweet Babboo keeps checking....

Yesterday we went to the mall and got his picture taken with Santy Clause. He was so excited, and it was really cool. The Santa was really nice and had a REAL long white beard. He talked with Babboo and asked him what he wanted. Babboo told him an Ipod and he was surprised.

Then when they were done he gave him a little stuffed animal elf he named...." Elfie" How did he think of that? LOL

This was his first trip down Santa lane. He had never wanted to until he found out Santa is not real. Its a wondrous mind a TRUE 6 year old has. We were reading Santa books last night and he was asking how he could get around the whole world in one night, didn't he get tired? etc...Like he was real. Then we were talking about his Santa's beard and how it was long and real. I said maybe he was really Santa. He told me no he just grew it out for his job. We agreed that his Santa had a lot of Santa energy, spirit, and soul!

I canceled my hair appointment...I have a tummy ache and would much rather sit and drink mint tea by the fire. I guess I will have funky hair for Christmas :)

Gee...

Well, I cannot believe it has been almost a week since Thanksgiving. We had a nice mellow Thanksgiving. We went out to dinner with J's Grandma & Aunt. The food was great. D.L. surprised them by dressing up as a Pilgrim. It was his idea..very cute.
After T_day I just slipped right into C-mas. We put up our tree and stockings and I started ordering stuff online. I made calenders online on Shutterfly again this year for the grandparents.
Monday we went on a hike up past Silverwood Lake. It was so beautiful. I was so proud Of D.L. The hike was about 3 miles . He did so great. We started off in the dry creek. Our goal was to reach the lake. After a bit we went on the trail, then later we moved up to the fire road. We made it to the lake and had a picnic and climbed in trees. It was great!
