bizzy/lazy

It has been a month since my last post. I have been busy, but also lazy and not dealing with anything, but what I have to.

My mom is coming into town tomorrow from Texas. It has been almost 2 years since we have seen her. I know she is going to trip out when she sees what a little kid D.L. is. She still calls him " the baby" They grow up so fast..sniff sniff.

Our new dog C.C. is such a sweetheart and I love her so , but whoever had her before messed her up. They obviously hit her. She lets out little tinkles if you just tell her "NO" loudly. We had the same problem with our Cocker when we got her, but she was still a puppy. We just boosted her confidence and cleaned up the puddles without saying a word. I wonder if this can work on a dog that is almost three. Any suggestions.....

I really don't like people who abuse there animals.....

Well I had better go start cleaning for my mom's arrival.

I think I fixed my comments once again.
I had changed the security on them because I got some spam, but now I changed it again.
We shall see...

C. C.

So today we got a new doggie. Adi was becoming even more fragile since Yoda was gone so we decided she needed a buddy. I was having this internal battle because I wanted a Boston terrier (approx $ 800 big ones) but knew I should rescue a dog from the shelter. I had also thought about fox terriers, but knew I should get something from the shelter. " Do the right thing Rabbit"

So today we went to some shelters in town. We went to the Wee Barr None adoption thingy at Petco. Great organization, but no dogs for us. They are a " No Kill" shelter.

Then we went to the Shelter on Zuni in Apple Valley and found our little girlie C. C. She is a 2 year old Jack Russell Terrier with papers. So sweet & smart, and housebroken! $ 75 bux and I am out the door. FYI there are a lot of pure breeds at shelters right now because of people losing there houses and not being able to keep them. Sad, but good for us. All the people at the shelters and pet store were talking about it. The people in front of us at the shelter were getting a beautiful pure breed husky. Anyways....

Her & Adi are great together though they will growl over the same chewie. (even though there are 12 others) She is super mellow too...

We are happy!
